The Paesano Bocce Club marked a milestone today with a joyful Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to officially welcome the inaugural indoor bocce season. Held inside the historic Cedarville Lodge in Gresham, the event celebrated the club’s exciting transition to year-round play on three brand-new carpeted courts. Community members, players, and supporters gathered to cheer as the ribbon was cut, symbolizing the culmination of dedicated planning and construction to bring bocce indoors from January 12th through April 24th. It was a proud moment that highlighted the club’s commitment to keeping the sport accessible regardless of weather.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces turn out for the celebration—thank you to everyone who came and shared in the excitement of touring our new bocce facility! A tremendous amount of time, effort, and passion went into preparing this space, and the day wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible volunteers who stepped up every step of the way. Their hard work and enthusiasm made today truly special. Here’s to an amazing inaugural indoor season filled with friendly competition, camaraderie, and plenty of rolls!
